How long can I use my inverter for?

This inverter System is a 3kva WITH 2 BATTERIES!

Example - (Check rating on each Appliance)

  • Fan = 200w
  • TV = 450w
  • Lights = 400w
  • Decoder = 200w
  • Router = 200w
  • Fridge = 400w
  • Freezer = 550w
  • Laptop = 300w
  • Sound Bar = 350w

 TOTAL = 3000watts for 2 hours (Normally 1 hour BUT his unit has 2 batteries)

Operational Steps for back-up When Load Shedding

When Mains Power goes off.

  1. Switch off main earth leakage circuit breaker
  2. Switch of geyser circuit breaker
  3. Switch off stove circuit breaker
  4. Switch off fridge circuit breaker
  5. Switch off pool motor circuit breaker
  6. Plug in 3 pin cable (from socket on back up inverter) into any wall plug
  7. You can now use lights, routers, cell chargers, TV and any other light appliances (check specifications plate on appliances for their watt rating)

When Mains Power comes on.

  1. Unplug the 3 pin cable from the wall
  2. Switch on the circuit breakers that were switched off when you connected your back-up.
  3. Only plug in your 2 pin cable from the battery charger to the wall socket – nothing else.
  4. Leave the battery charge switch on automatic.
  5. When the charging light stops flickering the battery is fully charged.
